Wearing well-known company clothing was a trend among young people years ago. Grocery store uniforms were popular. We still see clothing trends inspired by work clothes. It was, therefore, only a matter of time before a company jumped on this. And yes, this has finally happened.

It’s pizza giant Papa John’s who spotted an opportunity to turn their uniforms into fashionable streetwear. And Papa John’s X Cheddar was born. A clothing line inspired by the well-known cheese and very similar in style to their company clothing.
They designed the collection for Generation Z, who are currently between six and twenty-five years old. The collection, which includes matching caps and helmets, was developed to honor the delivery drivers and their role as essential employees during the pandemic. Hence the combination of streetwear and delivery uniform, as can be read in the press release.
Papa John’s X Cheddar: Pizza delivery-inspired clothing line
I think it’s funny that the company made a combination of these two styles. The collection includes large logos, typical Papa John’s colors, and even protective raincoats with reflective stripes. But I only see their company clothing. It differs slightly from what the employees currently wear, but most of us would struggle to tell the difference. To illustrate this, I have added some photos of employees below.
But hey, who cares? It is a creative and new way to address a new generation. If you are excited about the collection, you can stock up at De Pop. Most items cost fifteen dollars, and they ship internationally. My advice is to be quick as many items are already sold out.
