The last outfit article dates back to August 2020. I have since moved office and added some more items of clothing to my collection. So it’s high time for a new overview. In October, I experimented with a new color and new combinations. Curious? In this article, I’ll show you six outfits.
Try light blue?
First, let me talk a bit about Vinted. Two months ago, I started selling clothes, shoes, and accessories on this app. Initially, I just wanted to clear out my wardrobe, but it was not long before I started hunting for bargains. I keep a constant eye out for blouses from Cavallaro. I’ve been wearing them for years and they regularly pop up on Vinted for only a few euros. Also the light blue blouse below.
This blouse normally sells for between eighty and one hundred euros. But I snapped it up for only five euros. At this price, it is impossible to resist the temptation. To my surprise, the color looks pretty good on me. Especially when combined with one of my many dark blue trousers. The color doesn’t feel completely me yet, but definitely fun to experiment with in the coming period.
Love of black
From light blue, we go back to one of my favorite colors. I’m talking, of course, about black. A combination of black and white makes me very happy. Basic, but stylish.
Suspenders over vest
In October, I discovered a lady on Instagram with an incredibly fun, retro clothing style. Under the account name Bad hair good shoes she posts all kinds of photos of her outfits. My beloved suspenders and ties are also regular features. I spotted her with suspenders over a sweater, something I had not seen before. So it’s time to try this out with a cardigan.
To be honest, it feels a little weird wearing this combo. On the other hand, I’m glad I found a way to wear suspenders in combination with warm clothes. This way I can continue to wear them in the winter.
Even more second-hand
Besides the light blue one, I also scored this checkered blouse. Much more my style. On arrival, the buttons turned out to be round, so they tend to pop open. That is, of course, the disadvantage of buying clothes online. You don’t know exactly what you’ll get. Anyway, I’ll be replacing them with flat buttons that always stay neatly closed.
In jeans
Until a few months ago, I never really wore jeans. But since I got pants (shown above) to write about, I wear them more often. These are wonderfully warm and largely made from recycled materials, which is great.
In love
The last outfit in this article is also a Cavallaro blouse I bought on Vinted. It was love at first sight. Blue, white and red is a great color combination for me. I love it with the red suspenders.
