The staff of Azerbaijan Airlines has been given a new uniform. They have opted for a completely new outfit with different colors and prints. I think it looks very good. I’m curious to hear what you think of it.
Old uniforms of Azerbaijan Airlines
Before we take a look at the new collection, let’s first talk about the old uniforms.
The old collection mainly consisted of dark blue garments with orange details. Personally, I’m not a fan of orange. It doesn’t look good on many people, and especially in an environment where you need to look presentable, it’s a daring color choice. Therefore, I don’t find the plain jackets appealing. They don’t exude professionalism and are therefore not very suitable for an airline. However, I do like the scarves with orange details. The color is subtly incorporated in them.
These are the new uniforms of Azerbaijan Airlines
Azerbaijan Airlines has posted a video on social media showcasing the transition from old to new uniforms. The models first appear in the old clothing but quickly turn around to reveal the new collection.
The new uniforms were designed by Azerbaijani fashion designer Rufat Ismail. I consider it a significant improvement. Ismail has once again made extensive use of dark blue, but this time combined it with light blue and a striped pattern. The diagonal stripes on the waist and neckline subtly accentuate the female forms. The narrow belts complete the look beautifully.
The pilots’ attire complements that of the flight attendants perfectly. Once again, a dark blue base was chosen, but the numerous gold details prevent it from looking dull. The buttons, ties, and pin on the jacket are well-balanced and highly representative.
More changes at Azerbaijan Airlines
Director Wardah Harharah mentioned in the press release that besides the uniforms, they are actively working on improving other aspects.
“The new team image clearly visualizes significant changes aimed at enhancing AZAL’s customer experience and meeting the expectations of the airline’s customers, including professional team training, updated menus, and much more.”
I believe the airline has made significant progress regarding the uniforms. The new clothing is representative without being dull, a combination not often seen. Compliments!
