It had been a while since I had seen photos of Lewinsky. I was immediately impressed when I saw the images. They photographed this beautiful woman in an elegant and chic manner. You would almost forget that it’s about the clothing.
Reformation launches a collection of business clothing with Monica Lewinsky
The campaign is called ‘You’ve Got The Power’, and the powerful aura is clearly visible. According to Caris Cohan, Chief Creative Officer of Reformation, Lewinsky was also the only person the brand wanted to collaborate with.
“She is a perfect fit for the Ref archetype – smart, funny, sexy – and a walking embodiment of what it means to embrace your power. (…) From a creative standpoint, it was also very exciting to work with her on her first fashion campaign. We wanted to create something fresh and emotional, yet very true to who she is as a woman.”
With the collection, the clothing brand aims to encourage people to vote in this year’s presidential elections. As a former White House employee, Lewinsky is fully supportive of this.
“Voting is always important, but the stakes are particularly high this year, as voter frustration and apathy threaten to have a meaningful impact on turnout. I am excited and grateful to collaborate with Reformation to remind people to register, use their voice, and vote!”
If you want to get your hands on an item, you’ll have to dig into your pockets. Prices range from 248 euros for a dress to 898 euros for a leather trench coat. The collection is available for purchase through Reformation’s online store.
