Yay! After a two-year break, you can now expect new articles on Prettybusiness World. This means that stories about workwear and business fashion are coming online again. But I changed a few things, which I will explain in this article.
First of all: dear readers, welcome back and thank you for taking the time to read my short update.
Prettybusiness World is finally back!
In September 2019 I decided to launch Prettybusiness World. This is the English version of Prettybusiness.nl, the website where I publish articles about work clothing in Dutch (my native language). At the time I had my Dutch texts translated by a translator. But due to the pandemic and all its consequences, that was no longer possible. And so, in January 2022, I stopped translating new articles.
I decided to keep the website online and saw that the articles I had published were still being read on a daily basis. I also received messages from readers who missed my texts and asked if I could make a new start. This made a big impression on me.
Now, two years later, I have decided to make a fresh start. Where I used to have my texts translated by a translator, this is now done by a translation program. This means I can now publish not two but three articles per week. There will also be more long articles online and I can respond more quickly to the news with my articles. After all, I no longer have to pay for the words and wait for someone to do the translation. Of course I will also check the texts myself, but since I was not raised in English, there may sometimes be a small error in the articles. As before, I will place a link to Prettybusiness.nl in every article for my Dutch-speaking readers.
English videos
Over the past year and a half I have been publishing short videos about (all kinds of) workwear on social media. This year I will continue this, but from now on the videos will be recorded in English.
