For many men, a beautiful watch is an essential part of their outfit. It can show who you are, what you stand for, and often how wealthy you are. But what do the world’s top CEOs actually wear? In this article, I’ll show you what adorns the wrists of Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, and Mark Zuckerberg.

The unique watches of Elon Musk

The founder of Tesla, PayPal, and SpaceX has worn several watches over the years. At the beginning of his career, he wore the Rolex DateJust with a blue dial.

This is still a plain model compared to what he wears nowadays. For example, he owns the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra. Inspired by classic dive watches, it has a 41-millimeter dial and a stainless steel band. Also handy: you can dive with it up to a maximum depth of 150 meters.

Musk’s favorite is the TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 1887 SpaceX Chronograph. It was launched in 2012 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first watch in space. This first model was worn by John Glenn in 1962.

Jeff Bezos’ Watches

Amazon’s CEO Jeff Bezos usually wears the Ulysse Nardin Dual Time. It has a 42-millimeter silver dial and a classic look. The hour markers are luminous, and it is water-resistant to about 100 meters. The back of the watch case is transparent, allowing you to see the Swiss movement from the inside.

Like Musk, Bezos also has a special watch suitable for space travel. In honor of a space mission, he received the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch. For the occasion, the watch was adjusted so he could wear it on his NASA suit. The names of all crew members and flight numbers are engraved on the back of the watch.

Simple watches for Bill Gates

Bill Gates is known for his functional and inexpensive watches. Over the years, it has become part of his image.

He often wears the black Casio MDV106-1AV dive watch. Indeed, like the previously mentioned gentlemen, Gates finds it important to be able to wear his watch underwater. He can dive with it up to 200 meters deep.

Another favorite is the Casio Illuminator Sport Digital Chrono W214H-1AV. This model remains functional up to ‘only’ 50 meters underwater and, with a 48.2-millimeter case, is quite large. But it also has many features. You can set a daily alarm, get an hourly time signal, and it has a fully automated calendar and a 1/100 second stopwatch.

Recently, Gates bought another watch. But I can’t really call it special. This black Casio MRW-200H-1B2VDF looks very similar to the previously mentioned dive watch. Both the band and the side of the case are made of plastic, and it is water-resistant up to about 100 meters.

While the above gentlemen flaunt their watches, Mark Zuckerberg prefers to keep his wrists free. He doesn’t wear watches. But if he ever decides to wear one, I expect it will be a smartwatch.

Which watch do you think is the most beautiful?

Best regards,

Aileen
