Aileen Out is an internationally recognized expert in workwear and uniforms. In 2014, she founded Prettybusiness.nl, the first and only Dutch platform fully dedicated to business attire, functional workwear, and PPE for both men and women.
Over the past decade, Aileen has advised major organizations including Tricorp and the Dutch Ministry of Defense. She has appeared in national media, contributed to corporate fashion awards, and spoken at institutions such as The Hague University of Applied Sciences and the Association for Safe and Healthy Working. In 2018, she served as a jury member for the Dutch Corporate Fashion Awards.

Aileen is the author of two books:

She currently writes weekly columns for Management Support and NAUMD (North America), where she also co-hosts a monthly podcast focused on international developments in the workwear and uniform industry. In addition, she develops educational courses for NAUMD members.
In 2022, Prettybusiness.nl was archived by the Royal Library of the Netherlands as part of the nation’s digital heritage.
To reach a global audience, Aileen launched Prettybusinessworld.com, her English-language website. She also creates short-form content about uniforms and professional dress culture on TikTok, where she reaches at least 1 million viewers every month. Her videos and articles are widely shared across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
