They all make functional work clothing, work shoes, or protective equipment for women. I have added the Spotify link to every podcast. If you don’t have Spotify, Google the title of the podcast. You can usually find them on other platforms too. The interviews are all in English, but their stories are about different countries.

Social Entrepreneur – Sarah Calhoun (Red Ants Pants)

When searching for functional and flattering work clothing, Sarah Calhoun was told by manufacturers that women were not an interesting target group. So she developed workwear for women under the name Red Ants Pants. Sarah promoted her clothes through house parties all over America, and her grassroots marketing proved a success. Now that her clothes are selling well, she organizes an annual festival that raises money to help other women with their businesses.

Contrapreneur – Bella Weinstein (Handyma’am)

Bella Weinstein was a busy hairdresser who enjoyed doing odd jobs in her spare time. Unfortunately, she could never find well-made overalls to wear while pursuing her hobbies. Be Epic – Jane Henry (SeeHerWork)

Jane Henry once worked as a consultant in the oil and gas industry, where she witnessed firsthand the sorry state of women’s protective equipment. Pants that fell off and gloves that kept slipping are just two examples. There was also a large staff shortage in this industry, with many women feeling isolated and leaving their roles. With SeeHerWork she now sells work clothing and personal protective equipment for women. With her brand of PPE clothing, her goal is to offer better protection for women, and she also hopes to reduce the personnel shortage in this sector.
